LED Rotunda was the highlight visible from afar

GE attracted visitors to the demo stations at the Hanover Fair

With our Hanover branch, we have hit the jackpot, because we are now at home, so to speak, on the world’s largest trade fair grounds. Once a year, the Hannover Exhibition Centre is the venue for the HMI(Hannover-Messe-Industrie) industrial trade fair, welcoming the world’s largest capital goods exhibition.
The fair, which is visited by almost a quarter of a million people every year, celebrated its debut in 1947. Over time, it became apparent that there was a high level of specific interest in the various thematic blocks of the fair. This led to spin-offs that found a stage at trade fairs such as Light+Building, drupa and CeBIT. Once a year, however, the Hannover Messe brings together interested parties from all the main subject areas in one place. In 2017, the Hannover Messe recorded its most successful edition to date. So it can hardly be a coincidence that one of our highlights, the LED Rotunda, was also part of the Hannover Messe 2017.

The LED rotunda, with a diameter of almost 9m, attracted the visitors’ attention even from a distance. The 50m² image surface encased the circular centrepiece of the GE stand at a height of approx. 3m. Thus, like a lighthouse, it could attract attention even in the distance. The highlight of the exhibition hall, visible from afar, was installed by the technical team of AVMS Germany GmbH and filled with content.

A total of 320 modules of our INFiLED X3 were installed here, which convinces not only with its flexibility but also with its perfect sharpness. Due to the rather large viewing distance, the individual pixels blurred into a razor-sharp image.
In addition to this eye-catcher, we also equipped the same stand with suspended LED posters, a variety of displays in different sizes and two further LED walls. Multitasking was the order of the day here.
