German Design Award in the Messe Frankfurt Studio in Hall 4.0 on the exhibition grounds

This year’s German Design Award at the Messe Frankfurt Studio, honours innovative products and projects, their manufacturers and designers that are groundbreaking in the German and international design landscape. This is guaranteed by the top-class international jury. The German Design Award discovers and presents unique design trends: an award that advances the design-oriented economy.

The digital programme “All Eyes On” was developed for the presentation of the winners of the German Design Award 2021 and the exciting topics surrounding the submissions, which also includes a format series with various interviews and lectures. Discussions with industry professionals and design experts about important trends and design topics such as innovation, brand, sustainability or digitalisation provide important insights.

Also this year, during the pandemic, you wanted to be able to present the German Design Award and choose the winners.

The entire realization was realized for two weeks in the studio at the Frankfurt fair. Perfect studio lighting, remote-controlled DomeCams and person-guided HD camera trains ensured the good picture. The externally connected participants used the hardware of their own notebooks and PCs for the video calls.
Industry professionals and design experts were able to visit directly on site or via video conferencing from your office and from home on an LED wall into the discussion. High-quality microphone radio links were used to transmit the sound signals of the guests in the studio. The sound was distributed in best quality to the guests all over the world. The moderator, as well as the participants on site, were able to communicate with the guests via in-ear headphones. 

An entrance control by means of Temp-GUARD temperature measurement as well as a Hand-GUARD hand disinfection ensured the necessary basic hygiene right at the entrance. In addition, the Next Generation Studio is equipped with several new special Air-GUARD-Tube air filters to combat viruses. Further hygiene measures, as well as sufficient space, ensure a high level of Corona safety precautions.

With the latest technology in video, sound and lighting, the AVMS team was able to guarantee a smooth recording process for the client.
