beMatrix Academy in Merenberg - Two days full of practice and innovation
The
Day 1 - Basics, beMatrix system and beCAD tools
The first day of the beMatrix Academy brought together around 50 participants from the exhibition stand construction and event industry. After a welcome by Klaus Stegmaier and a brief introduction to the philosophy of beMatrix, an intensive practical session began:
- System introduction: The participants were introduced to the modular beMatrix frames, connecting elements and the wide range of possible applications.
- Hands-on workshop: Under the guidance of experienced instructor Sergej Fendel, a complete exhibition stand was constructed – including doors, panels and textile walls. The participants were able to lend a hand themselves and experience the simple but stable construction of the system.
- beCAD® tool: This was followed by a detailed presentation of the digital planning tool. Ron Limbach showed how beCAD® can be used to efficiently create layouts and export packing lists.
- Networking: During the breaks, there was an opportunity to exchange ideas with industry colleagues and beMatrix experts.
The first day not only provided theoretical knowledge, but above all practical experience in using the beMatrix system – a real added value for all those who use modular solutions in trade fair construction.
Day 2 - Building a complete double deck structure with stairs, railings and fabric covering
On the second day, the focus was on height – in the truest sense of the word. The beMatrix instructors guided the participants step by step through the construction of an Xtreme Double-Deck structure.
- Printed plans served as the basis for assembly
- Around 10 experienced stand builders demonstrated their quick comprehension and implemented the specifications precisely.
- The second level was created, a staircase and railings were added and fabrics were installed to complete the construction.
Another highlight: Thomas Fischer from AVMS Medientechnik presented the Interactive Event Media Player, which actively integrates visitors into the brand world and ensures maximum attention. The combination of innovative hardware and creative media concepts showed how classic trade fair stands can be transformed into interactive experience spaces.
