AVMS at the EuroShop 2026: Pioneering media technology for the exhibition stand construction of the future

When the doors to EuroShop open in Düsseldorf, the entire international trade fair construction and retail industry will be eagerly awaiting the latest trends in live communication. EuroShop 2026 has once again impressively demonstrated this: The modern trade fair stand is no longer purely analog architecture. It is a hybrid, interactive world of experience in which spatial design, high-resolution media technology and customized content merge seamlessly into an emotional unit. Right in the middle of Hall 1, the beating heart of stand builders and system developers, AVMS was omnipresent as one of the leading AV service providers for the temporary equipping of exhibition stands.

Our credo at AVMS has always been: “The customer should be able to sleep soundly.” The fact that this promise is not just an empty phrase was demonstrated by the accurate planning, reliable technology and smooth running of the stands of our valued partners. Whether complex LED architectures, interactive touch applications or full-surface, immersive displays – our team of permanent specialists and experienced freelance technicians demonstrated at EuroShop 2026 what state-of-the-art event technology can achieve today. In this review, we take you on a tour of the absolute trade fair highlights in which we played a key role.

Immersive campfire romance: the BRACE Group stand wins gold

One of the absolute visitor magnets and an undisputed visual highlight in Hall 1 was the stand of our partner, the BRACE Group. Located directly on the busy main aisle, the concept attracted attention from afar. At a time when the visual sensory overload at trade fairs is enormous, the BRACE Group opted for an astonishing contrast: a high-tech, immersive presentation that radiated pure closeness to nature, tranquillity and human sociability.

At the center of the stand was a virtual bonfire constructed from innovative Creative LED elements. Clusters of people continuously formed around this flickering center. The fascination of the visitors was palpable; countless smartphones were pulled out to take photos and videos of this extraordinary atmosphere. It is precisely this form of attraction that makes for a successful trade fair appearance. Of course, such a masterpiece of live communication does not go unrewarded: we heartily congratulate our partner on winning a Golden Award in its size category from EXHIBITOR Magazine for this stand at Euroshop! A fantastic confirmation of bold design and excellent technical implementation.

The visual backdrop for this convivial campfire was a gigantic, 13-meter-wide and 5-meter-high LED wall. We decided to use extremely high-resolution INFiLED DB 1.9mm LED modules to provide visitors with a razor-sharp, photorealistic image even from the shortest distance. These modules not only impress with their minimal pixel pitch, but also with their enormous richness of contrast and brilliant color reproduction – essential for depicting nature as authentically as possible.

The content that was brought to life on this huge digital screen was particularly fascinating. On display was a breathtaking natural landscape around a tranquil mountain lake. In a 10-minute loop, visitors experienced the entire course of the day: from a gentle sunrise shrouded in mist, to the radiant daylight and a dramatic sunset, right through to a starry night. The impressive thing about it: the entire video shown was 100% AI-generated. The content specialists showed an unparalleled attention to detail. If you looked closely, you could see birds circling in the sky or a majestic stag grazing on the shore of the mountain lake.

But a truly immersive experience appeals to more than just the sense of sight. That’s why the visual splendor was perfected by a sophisticated sound design. The typical sound of a burning wood fire crackled from invisibly installed loudspeakers to match the Creative LED campfire. The mountain lake landscape was acoustically accompanied by the gentle gurgling of water and soft bird calls. This created an absolute oasis of well-being in the middle of the hectic hustle and bustle of the trade fair.

In order to meet the information needs of visitors in the B2B environment despite the relaxed atmosphere, we also integrated an interactive touch table into the stand concept. Here, interested parties could playfully and intuitively navigate through the exhibitor’s company information and diverse references. Gamification and information transfer went hand in hand here, typical of the interactive design of AVMS.

Unlimited creativity: the beMatrix stand shakes

As an official beMatrix LEDskin partner, we could not miss the stand of the Belgian system manufacturer beMatrix. The modular frame system has revolutionized exhibition stand construction, and beMatrix used EuroShop 2026 to open the next chapter in this success story. The stand was extremely well attended on all days of the trade fair. This was partly due to the exciting innovations, but also to the legendary hospitality: on two evenings, the stand was transformed into a vibrant event location that created a lively party atmosphere.

The visual impact of this stand was provided by AVMS technology. We equipped the entire stand with high-resolution 1.5mm beMatrix LEDskin. These extremely fine pixel pitches make it possible to display complex graphics, fine fonts and dynamic videos in absolutely uncompromising quality, even when visitors are standing directly in front of the wall. The seamless integration of the LED tiles into the classic beMatrix b62 frame system ensures an absolutely clean, architectural look with no distracting edges or transitions.

A particular highlight and the absolute star among the trade visitors were the brand new, narrow LEDskin – E modules. This innovation met with immense interest from the trade fair builders. The narrow LED strips (with a grid size of 496 x 62 mm) extend the design freedom enormously. They are perfect for striking edges, dynamic banderoles, illuminated corners and bold design accents in stand architecture. The e-modules can be used to trace architectural lines or build digital frames around physical exhibits. We are delighted that we will soon be able to make these revolutionary modules available to our customers in large quantities for their own projects. To ensure that the material is always 100% ready for use, we test and maintain all our LEDskin modules in our own workshops, which are equipped with high-precision robots and special soldering stations, among other things.

Transparency with style: transparent LED solutions at the KL-Druck stand

Another trend that could not be overlooked at EuroShop 2026 was the fusion of classic large-format printing and digital moving image technology. The KL-Druck stand provided an outstanding example of this. Here it was impressively demonstrated that print and digital signage are not competitors, but can push each other to completely new visual levels.

Transparent LED solutions were used extensively on the stand. This technology is an absolute specialty of AVMS and is becoming increasingly popular in the rental sector. Transparent LED walls, which are often constructed like filigree slatted curtains, offer the enormous advantage that they remain translucent. For example, they can be used in shop windows without obstructing the view into the store, or a visual barrier can be created on a trade fair stand that still makes the space appear open and airy. Of particular interest to users of the beMatrix frame system is the new Invisible Screen, a 1x2m transparent LED solution in a beMatrix frame, which is characterized by a particularly good price/performance ratio.

At the KL-Druck stand, the transparent displays were masterfully positioned in front of an LED wall. Playing dynamic content on the upstream LEDs created a fascinating 3D depth effect. Brand logos, texts or animations seemed to literally float in space, while the background remained visible through the modules. This type of installation requires precise planning in lighting design – a discipline in which creative minds with years of experience excel. They know exactly how the ambient light needs to be controlled so that the holographic effect of the transparent LEDs is perfectly accentuated. Of course, these extraordinary transparent systems can also be hired from AVMS for trade fairs, galas or permanent installations.

Focus on interaction: the Meplan stand

In modern trade fair marketing, it is no longer enough to simply passively feed visitors. Users want to actively intervene in the event, navigate for themselves and discover content at their own pace. Meplan‘s trade fair presentation showed how this requirement can be elegantly integrated into a clear, professional stand design.

As a subsidiary of Messe München, Meplan stands for holistic trade fair planning and stand construction concepts. In order to present its own extensive portfolio of services, reference projects and digital tools in the best possible way, an interactive media player offered for rent by AVMS was used at the Meplan stand.

In contrast to classic endless video loops, an interactive media player enables direct communication between the visitor and the digital presentation area. Combined with high-resolution touch displays, visitors to the Meplan stand were able to actively intervene in the menu structure. Regardless of whether they were interested in sustainable system stand construction, 3D visualizations or exhibitor training, they could call up exactly the videos, presentations or PDFs that were relevant to them at the touch of a finger.

The technical architecture behind such solutions must be absolutely fail-safe. We rely on high-performance players and robust touch sensors that respond smoothly and without delay, even after hundreds of interactions per hour. Another advantage: by using the interactive media player, anonymized analytics data can be recorded in the background. This allows the exhibitor to subsequently evaluate exactly which content, products or videos were accessed most frequently by trade fair visitors – an invaluable advantage for ROI analysis and event follow-up.
