On 500m² we have integrated the finest technology for you. Two combined high-resolution Infiled LED walls with 1 and 2 mm pixelpitch is just a highlight for the best background you have ever seen. The Messe Frankfurt Live Streaming Studio offers you an unparalleled online environment.

Skillfully complement the media technology with real equipment elements to create a convincing scenery. The presenter can use real exhibits and analogue aids such as touch systems or product samples. At the same time, he makes use of the multimedia possibilities of media technology. Additional products can be integrated by means of video overlays and imported into the transmitted live image as a virtual 3D model.

With our support, stream your press conference, your lecture, the product presentation or your discussion round live on the Internet, for example on your homepage, on Facebook, on YouTube or Vimeo. Use our Streaming4you portal to enter into an interactive dialogue with your employees, customers or business partners. For presentations and lectures backgrounds can be shown to match the content. An Live Talk can easily be extended by adding further external participants on the LED wall.

The motto of the 3rd Ecumenical Church Day at the AVMS Studio was “Look” (Mk 6:38). “‘Look’ is an appeal – to all of us,” said the president of the
Ecumenical Church Congress, Bettina Limperg. “Looking is more than seeing. Look, perceives and does not pass. Looking stops and takes responsibility. Taking active responsibility is the mandate of every Christian.”

In this way, she provided the central theme for the programme of the major digital event in Frankfurt am Main. Many spiritual issues of the day were discussed and addressed. Justice, cohesion, sexual abuse, finance and climate change are just various topics covered during the event. Due to the pandemic, however, this did not all take place at one central location, but at around 80 different venues, digitally or in small circles (taking into account the hygiene regulations currently in force). The focus was on questions of faith and trust, social cohesion and growing global responsibility.

The technical realisation of the entire 3rd Ecumenical Church Congress was carried out with the latest technology in the AVMS Studio at the Frankfurt Trade Fair.

Perfect studio lighting, remote-controlled DomeCams, powerful media servers and people-guided HD camera trains ensured the good picture. Thus, a smooth image transmission could be guaranteed. External speakers, such as CDU chancellor candidate Armin Laschet or the mayor of the city of Frankfurt,
Peter Feldmann
, were integrated into the program via additional links. Consequently, they were able to join the discussion via video conferencing solution from their office and from home on an LED wall. Meanwhile, the entire broadcast was supported with sign language interpreters, audio description and live subtitles for people with physical disabilities. Accordingly, the participant could choose between two different streams.

Last but not least, the 3rd Ecumenical Church Day ended with an open-air service at the Wesel shipyard on the banks of the Main in Frankfurt. A little bit of church congress feeling came up after all – albeit with a mask and three empty chairs between them. A total of 400 participants, under the strictest regulations, could be present on site .In addition, the participants were with a 31m² LED trailer allows a better view of the stage. The service was led by the President of the German Bishops’ Conference (DBK), Limburg Bishop Georg Bätzing, the Church President of the Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau, Volker Jung, and the President of the Association of Christian Churches in Germany (ACK), Archpriest Radu Constantin Miron.

With the help of the latest technology in the field of video, sound and light, the AVMS team was able to guarantee a smooth flow of the client’s stream.

So everyone could “look”, true to the motto of this year’s Kirchentag.

Virtual Production (VP) is an area of the digital cinema workflow where filming takes place in front of a large LED screen. Traditional green screens are thus replaced. The LED walls are filled with virtual xR backgrounds to create reactive backgrounds in real time. In a The Cube 3D xR film studio, these can be perfectly synchronized with the camera for a seamless, all-around and fully immersive, highly detailed and textured recreated 3D environment.

Virtual Engine real-time rendering and pixel-precise tracking enable an innovative way of filming, creating super-real and flexibly changeable digital scenes that unleash new creative possibilities for filmmakers. It allows to create new impressive worlds, which the actors see to react in real time. The real world in the studio and the virtual worlds on the LED walls merge harmoniously. This was not possible with green screen.

Problems with traditional green screen included green spill and poor character contact lighting. LED Virtual Production provides more realistic lighting, with the right highlights, light shifts and reflections. The team is not confronted with time pressure and restrictions of the environment, they can shoot at any time with perfect lighting conditions. That is simply extra class!

LED displays offer a cost and time efficient solution by moving directly from pre-production to post-production. Directors can instantly see the environments through the camera lens and work to make adjustments on set. You don’t have to travel to an exotic set to get that unique must-have shot. The crew can work on site and safely – saving even more production costs.

Virtual Scouting capabilities offer set designers new ways to navigate and interact in virtual production environments. They can navigate and interact while creating the environment and help make better creative decisions. You can use measurement and interaction tools to check distances and modify the world. You can also compose shots, set up scene blocks, and get accurate representations of filming locations.

Acting in an imaginary environment poses the greatest challenge to the actors’ acting skills and the director’s control. Virtual production can build the most realistic and immersive virtual environment. During filming, actors can quickly get into character without relying solely on their imagination.

The Cube high-end 3D xR film studios are equipped with at least 3 LED walls in the shape of a corner. Ideally, high-resolution LED modules are used for the walls and a resilient LED floor. Of course, round shapes with flexible LED modules or ceiling constructions are also possible. Due to the Corona issue, the European Film Awards were presented at an online event. Instead of taking place in Reykjavik as planned, the event was held at the Futurium in Berlin. Two large and high-resolution LED walls provided an appropriate stage background. A live videotalk took place on the small stage, and the winners were video streamed in. The complete award ceremony can be viewed on the site of the European Film Academy.

The tragicomedy The Intoxication by Thomas Vinterberg has been named best European film of the year. This was announced by the European Film Academy at the award ceremony in Berlin. The Danish filmmaker also won the award for best director. The Intoxication tells of four men who get drunk constantly to test the possibilities of alcohol. Vinterberg and his colleague Tobias Lindholm also received the award for Best European Screenplay. Mads Mikkelsen was awarded Best Actor for his role in the film.

Paula Beer won the award for best actress. The 25-year-old won the award for her role in the romantic drama Undine. In director Christian Petzold’s film, she plays a historian who falls in love with an industrial diver (Franz Rogowski).

The European Film Awards are among the most prestigious awards in the industry. The more than 3,800 members of the film academy vote on many award winners, similar to the Oscars in the US.

This time the awards were presented on several evenings in a row. The award ceremony, which was actually planned to take place in Iceland, was cancelled due to the Corona pandemic. Instead, the awards were presented in a digital broadcast from Berlin. Last year, the historical film The Favourite by Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos won the award for best European film.

The AVMS team provided a great stage background with two high-resolution INFiLED DB2.6 LED walls.
