An interactive media player from AVMS is revolutionizing the way content is presented at trade fairs, in showrooms or at events. With a simple scan of a QR code, the visitor takes control – without having to touch the screen or install an app.

What is the AVMS interactive event media player?

AVMS interactive media player is an innovative presentation system that has been specially developed for use in public or semi-public spaces. At its heart is a powerful PC on which various media formats – such as images, videos, PDFs or presentations – are stored in a structured form. This content is shown on a display, a projection or a video wall.

The special feature: Control is not via traditional input devices such as a mouse or touchscreen, but via the visitor’s own smartphone. A dynamically generated QR code on the display enables immediate access to an intuitive user interface. This allows the user to navigate through the content, play media or call up specific information – contactless, secure and interactive.

LED banner with media server for excellent long-distance effect

Roche booth at EASD in Berlin informs about diabetes therapy

The Roche stand at the EASD Congress in Berlin shone like a beacon. The fantastically bright, square LED banner made of INFiLED ER 5.9mm, with a total length of 46 meters, was fed with a media server. It ensured extremely good visibility even from the other end of the exhibition hall.

Even during the preparation phase, the AVMS project team supported the agency with content creation. The high resolution of 7728 pixels in width is not a standard format after all. However, with the help of 1:1 pixel mapping, this challenge could also be mastered. The LED banner was then processed using a powerful media server, without any loss of image clarity, with the high-resolution content. The result has delighted clients, agency and stand builder alike.

Additionally, we suspended three more LED banners made of INFiLED ER 3.9mm, each 5 meters long, from the stand truss. We realized the feed with programmable media players. Even the small banners had a razor sharp image.
