The Frankfurt Art Experience - We love art and culture.

We employees of AVMS Germany GmbH love art and culture. We also see ourselves as specialists for light and media art. Otherwise, the many creative solutions for our customers would hardly be conceivable.

Art Experiences, Walks and Talks, and an Art Experience Showroom with special exhibition.

The season opener of the Frankfurt galleries is one of the oldest Gallery Weekends in Germany and took place for the 26th time in 2020. Well over 50 galleries and art institutions jointly opened their new exhibitions – invited and organized by the Interessengemeinschaft der Galerien Frankfurt. Established positions and promising new discoveries attract collectors and art enthusiasts from all over Germany and abroad to Frankfurt and the galleries every year. The Frankfurt Art Experience special exhibition “Time In Transition” also took place.

The Art Experience Walks are art tours through the various Frankfurt districts and galleries. Experienced art mediators facilitate diverse discoveries in Frankfurt’s art scene with special insights into private collections, galleries and artists’ studios. Alternative collection and exhibition venues such as hotels and restaurants are also visited and presented.

At the Art Experience Talks, players and experts from the art world reflect on and discuss the situation on the national and international art market and the structural changes that are currently emerging. The final talk is dedicated to the strong presence of photography as a medium in Frankfurt and the unique selling point that the city can claim for itself. Further topics of the talks are the crisis resistance of the art market, the role of the digital, the interaction of artists, art academies and galleries as well as art collecting.

In addition to truss and lighting installations for exhibits, media technology in the form of monitors with media players, notebooks and tablets was used. We have also provided a suitable sound system. Several loudspeakers suspended in the rig provided clear, well-dosed sound during the many talks and panel discussions.

The event took place in compliance with current hygiene regulations. Access quotas, distance restrictions, mandatory masks and disinfection dispensers in all rooms ensured effective health protection.

Great lighting atmosphere and special effects

Jet is the brand name of the service station network and petroleum products of the US petroleum company Phillips 66, which was formed in 2012 by splitting ConocoPhillips. In Germany, the brand operates around 800 service stations. To offer employees an unforgettable experience, the company invited them to a great motivational event in the Lokhalle in Göttingen. An impressively beautiful light atmosphere and great special effects awaited the guests.

The central element was a 15x3m stage on which the entertainment programme took place. Speakers, corporate videos and visual effects were shown on a 33m² LED wall.

Transparent LED modules were used on both sides of the stage to visually widen the stage. This creative installation brought it to another 30m² LED surface.

The sophisticated hall lighting was realised by the AVMS technical team with numerous coloured LED floodlights, ARRI stepped lenses and profile spotlights. Fog machines further enhanced the colorful lighting effects.

Another highlight was a fuel price board made of LED modules. Below this price board a real tree root was equipped with coloured LED light snakes.

During the event, the audience was divided into several groups. These were each given a colour. If one of the group, because of the great performance on the stage, broke out in enthusiasm, this was illuminated with their color and the light cone moved to the root. This then began to glow in the same color. If this was the case, the level indicator on the LED price board increased. When the maximum level was reached, the audience got bonus material from the entertainer on stage. A blatant exuberant mood was the result.

In an adjacent but separate area there was another conference area. For this purpose, two additional stages were installed, each with a 6m² LED wall, sound and lighting as well as several camera hoists. For the light alone, another 80 LED floodlights were used.

The technical team, consisting of 20 AVMS employees, had a blast at this elaborate but also super exciting day event.

Lighting mood in corporate design

AVMS has always been at the side of Vattenfall and changing trade fair constructors for 15 years. We have always adapted to changing requirements and circumstances in order to achieve the optimum result for the customer. We always look forward to the next trade fair.

Let there be light for the energy supplier at e-world 2011 - 2025

Not all light is created equal. We supplied and installed the lighting and media technology at the e-world trade fair for one of the four major energy suppliers in Germany. A lighting mood in the corporate design was created according to the customer’s wishes.

The employees and customer advisors on the stand were very lucky that the company colours were yellow-orange. The light at the stand also felt correspondingly warm and pleasant.

In addition to the trussing and lighting installation, media technology was used in the form of numerous monitors with media players, several touch devices, large notebooks and tablets. We have also provided for a good sound system, especially at the stand party. Several speakers suspended in the rig provided sufficient sound pressure for dancing.

From an original 500 sqm stand area with a double storey over half the stand and a legendary stand party, which is unparalleled in Essen, the stand has been reduced in size and the content has been concentrated on the essentials, above all renewable energies.
