The exhibitors at ACHEMA are doing everything they can to offer unique brand and technology experiences on their stands. They inspire visitors with their ideas and products in a way that cannot be found anywhere else in the industry. Large apparatus and machines are supplemented or replaced by media technology installations that illustrate procedures, processes or other details. Touch monitor installations entice visitors to interact.

Manufacturers and service providers from over 50 countries present products for the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, energy and environmental sectors. This makes the world’s leading trade fair ACHEMA the most important source of inspiration for the international process industry. It offers a comprehensive and cross-industry range of technology and services. Visitors spend an average of two days at the trade fair to get the best possible overview of the technology and a preview of the latest innovations.

Apparatus, machines and lots of media technology:

Impressive equipment and machines often take center stage at the trade fair stands. However, some devices are so large that they would blow up the exhibition stand. In these cases, the use of media technology is appropriate. Smaller devices can also be explained with information on additional monitors.

In addition to large LED walls, interactive touchscreens also play an important role at ACHEMA. These devices allow visitors to interact with the products and services on display, access information and make contact with exhibitors. Interactive touchscreens ensure a dynamic and appealing trade fair presentation that visitors will remember.

Forums and stages offer a great platform for further education and discussion

Students from universities of applied sciences, colleges and universities (including doctoral students) can experience the entire spectrum of process technology at ACHEMA, supported by DECHEMA. Five stages were set up by AVMS and supervised during the events. This has ensured harmonious lighting, good intelligible sound and razor-sharp images.

Achema press conference equipped with truss, lighting, sound, stage and media technology

To hold the international press conference on the occasion of Achema 2022, the Panorama room in the Forum of the Festhalle on the Frankfurt exhibition grounds was equipped with elaborate stage, lighting, sound, camera, media and transmission technology and supervised by experienced technicians.

Achema (proper spelling ACHEMA for Ausstellungsstagungfür chemisches Apparatewesen) is the world’s largest trade fair for the process industry for chemical engineering, process technology and biotechnology with around 170,000 visitors and several thousand international exhibitors. It is organized every three years on the grounds of the Frankfurt Fair by the association DECHEMA and the “Dechema Ausstellungs-GmbH”.

The stage was built with stage platforms. The stage back wall was realized with a reusable beMatrix frame system with textile covering.

The ceiling of the hall was equipped with a truss construction to which numerous spotlights were attached to illuminate the stage and the audience area. In addition, battery-powered spotlights set up on the sides provided a pleasant ambience.

Good understanding among the audience was ensured by the interpreters, who were deployed from an interpreting booth for the translation. The sound was professionally mixed and distributed to the audience through loudspeakers, which were also suspended in the truss.

A 5x5m LED wall made of LEDskin® modules, has shown the visual content from presentations or the two camera trains from the stage.

For those who could not be there in person, the entire event was broadcast via livestream on the Achema homepage.

Thanks to perfect planning and professional equipment for the event, the AVMS technicians were able to ensure smooth and trouble-free operation of the AV and media technology.
