Close to the Sky—A Summer Festival for Those Who Don’t Get Dizzy

After the physical exertion high up in the treetops, the action shifted to the Sulzbach branch’s grounds in the late afternoon. As you’d expect from a well-coordinated team in the event and trade show industry, setting up for the evening’s culinary portion went by in a flash, with everyone working hand in hand. Everyone knew immediately where to pitch in, so the courtyard was transformed into a cozy venue in no time. One particularly charming industry-specific detail couldn’t be left out: Without further ado, sturdy flight cases were rolled out of the warehouse and cleverly repurposed as sturdy buffet tables—creative proof that media technology cuts a fine figure not only on stage but also when it comes to catering.

The culinary highlight of the evening was the large grill, where the management personally took charge of the tongs. It is a time-honored tradition that, at the summer party, the executives take care of the staff’s meals, thereby directly showing their appreciation for the work they’ve done. Juicy burgers and hearty steaks hit the hot grill, and their aroma quickly wafted across the courtyard. At the same time, the rest of the buffet left nothing to be desired: a rich selection of vegetarian and vegan specialties, as well as numerous fresh, crisp salads, offered just the right thing for every taste to replenish everyone’s energy reserves.

With their plates piled high, the group settled in comfortably under a large, shady pavilion. With upbeat music playing in the background and cool drinks in hand, a lively atmosphere quickly took hold. Away from strict schedules and technical drawings, casual conversations arose that, for a change, didn’t revolve around the next setups, but instead provided space for personal anecdotes and shared laughter. This relaxed end to the evening underscored the family-like atmosphere within the company and brought the day to a close in a wonderful, harmonious setting.
