The first Frankfurt <\/strong>Fashion Week<\/strong> took place from July 5 – 9, 2021 and presented fashion in digital form.
\nFollowing last year’s announcement that the Premium Group<\/a> ‘s fashion fairs and Neonyt<\/a> would be moving from Berlin to Frankfurt, the first edition took place digitally at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds. However, this year she focused on virtual conferences. Thus, the international conference format was dedicated to topics such as technology, sustainability and innovation in the fashion industry.<\/p>\n

The technical implementation of the entire Frankfurt Fashion Week 2021 was carried out with the latest technology in the AVMS Studio at Messe Frankfurt.<\/p>\n

Accordingly, perfect studio lighting<\/strong>, remote-controlled DomeCams<\/strong>, powerful media servers<\/strong> and people-guided HD camera trains<\/strong> ensured a good picture. Thus, a smooth image transmission could be guaranteed. External speakers, such as the EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen<\/a>, could be integrated into the programme by means of additional links. Consequently, they were able to join the discussion via video conferencing solution from their office and from home on an LED wall.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, despite the current pandemic, there was also some fashion to be seen in some places in the city of Frankfurt. This is how the Mainz designer Anja Gockel presented her new summer collection on Tuesday at the Hotel Frankfurter Hof. Furthermore, local fashion designers use the charisma of Fashion Week to show their creations at independent events. A good example of this is the young designer Samuel G\u00e4rtner, who invited visitors to his show at the Senckenberg Museum.
