The LED rotunda: spiral-shaped innovation with INFiLED X2 modules

The unusual shape of the rotunda not only attracted attention, but also enabled a completely new type of product presentation. Visitors were able to move around the installation and experience the content from different perspectives. The LED rotunda thus became the central attraction of the trade fair stand and the topic of conversation at EMO.

The black truss: 20×29 m construction for maximum flexibility

• High load-bearing capacity: The truss system provided sufficient stability to safely support the heavy LED modules, the numerous LED floodlights and other equipment.
• Flexible assembly: Thanks to the modular design, the individual components could be adapted precisely to the requirements of the stand design.
• Elegant design: The black powder coating of the truss ensured a discreet, high-quality look that blended harmoniously into the overall appearance of the trade fair stand.

Integration into the stand concept:
The truss system not only served as a technical basis, but was also integrated into the stand design. It framed the LED rotunda, structured the various presentation areas and enabled flexible positioning of the lighting and media technology.

Light staging with 90 LED floodlights: atmosphere and accents

• Energy-efficient LED technology: The floodlights used offer high luminous efficacy with low power consumption and are therefore particularly sustainable.
• Flexible control: Brightness, color and effects could be individually adjusted and adapted to the respective presentations via a central lighting control system.
• Dynamic lighting scenes: The combination of static basic lighting and dynamic effects created a lively, inviting atmosphere that invited visitors to linger.
• Accentuation of exhibits: Individual machines and tools from Paul Horn were specifically staged so that their technical details were shown to their best advantage.

Visitor experience:
The lighting design played a key role in directing visitors’ attention and clearly structuring the various areas of the exhibition stand. In combination with the LED rotunda and the truss system, a coherent overall concept was created that perfectly combined technology and design.
