Large LED column at Bar Convent Berlin impresses visitors and exhibitors

A special highlight, besides all the delicious drinks, was the five and a half meter high LED column at the Campari booth. The LED column was assembled from more than 350 INFiLED X2 curved LED modules. Among other things, this column looked like an oversized beverage glass or a bottle with the finest contents. The feed was provided by a media player on which a playlist was pre-programmed. The Bar Convent Berlin took place from October 10 – 12, 2022. After the trade show was more or less cancelled in 2020 due to a pandemic, it was relaunched in 2021, for the first time in the Berlin exhibition halls.

Moving pictures of delicious drinks whetted the appetite. A technical work of art with a wow effect.

With a height of 5.5 meters and a diameter of 3 meters, the LED column at the Campari stand was not only an architectural statement, but also a prime example of innovative media technology. Composed of over 350 INFiLED X2 curved LED modules with a fine pixel pitch of 2.6 mm, a seamless, cylindrical LED surface was created that was reminiscent of an oversized beverage glass or an elegant bottle.

The content was played via a media player with a pre-programmed playlist that showed moving images of delicious drinks – perfectly coordinated with the Campari brand world. The content was produced by Rocket Scientist, with the creative concept coming from e.w.enture. The combination of brilliant image quality, curved shape and dynamic content made the LED column the undisputed technical highlight of the trade fair.

With 12,505 visitors from 88 countries and 533 exhibitors from 44 countries, the Bar Convent Berlin, which took place from October 10 to 12, 2022, recorded an impressive response. In the midst of this international stage, AVMS made a strong statement for creative media technology and impressive brand staging with the LED column.
