beMatrix Academy in Merenberg - Two days full of practice and innovation

The beMatrix Academy took place at the beMatrix Rental & Service Center in Merenberg on November 11 and 12, 2025. Around 50 professionals from the exhibition stand construction and event industry took the opportunity to find out about the latest developments in modular system construction and innovative media technology. AVMS was on site as a bePartner together with Moss and presented practical media technology Solutions for modern exhibition stands.

Day 1 - Basics, beMatrix system and beCAD tools

The first day of the beMatrix Academy brought together around 50 participants from the exhibition stand construction and event industry. After a welcome by Klaus Stegmaier and a brief introduction to the philosophy of beMatrix, an intensive practical session began:

System introduction: The participants were introduced to the modular beMatrix frames, connecting elements and the wide range of possible applications.
Hands-on workshop: Under the guidance of experienced instructor Sergej Fendel, a complete exhibition stand was constructed – including doors, panels and textile walls. The participants were able to lend a hand themselves and experience the simple but stable construction of the system.
beCAD® tool: This was followed by a detailed presentation of the digital planning tool. Ron Limbach showed how beCAD® can be used to efficiently create layouts and export packing lists.
Networking: During the breaks, there was an opportunity to exchange ideas with industry colleagues and beMatrix experts.

The first day not only provided theoretical knowledge, but above all practical experience in using the beMatrix system – a real added value for all those who use modular solutions in trade fair construction.

Day 2 - Building a complete double deck structure with stairs, railings and fabric covering

On the second day, the focus was on height – in the truest sense of the word. The beMatrix instructors guided the participants step by step through the construction of an Xtreme Double-Deck structure.

Around 10 experienced stand builders demonstrated their quick comprehension and implemented the specifications precisely.
The second level was created, a staircase and railings were added and fabrics were installed to complete the construction.

Another highlight: Thomas Fischer from AVMS Medientechnik presented the Interactive Event Media Player, which actively integrates visitors into the brand world and ensures maximum attention. The combination of innovative hardware and creative media concepts showed how classic trade fair stands can be transformed into interactive experience spaces.

beMatrix Academy at KL Druck: Two days full of practical insights and media technology

On August 6 and 7, 2025, KL Druck hosted the beMatrix Academy – an inspiring event dedicated entirely to the future of trade fair and event construction. AVMS GmbH was there as a media technology partner, impressively demonstrating how modern technologies such as beTV and LEDskin are revolutionizing design options.

Media technology you can touch: AVMS shows how beTV and LEDskin® digitally expand exhibition stand construction

Two days full of know-how, exchange and practical insights: the beMatrix Academy at KL Druck offered participants an ideal platform to find out about modular system solutions and digital extensions. AVMS was on site and presented the advantages of beTV – the integrated display system – and LEDskin®, the LED solution for beMatrix frames.

The live demonstration of the simple installation was particularly impressive: AVMS showed how quickly and easily the LEDskin modules can be integrated into the beMatrix structure – without any special tools or complicated technology. Participants were able to see for themselves how intuitively and flexibly digital content can be integrated into modern trade fair and event architecture.

In addition to the technology, the focus was also on the exchange of ideas: numerous discussions with industry colleagues, exciting impulses and a shared understanding of the future of live communication made the Academy a real highlight.

The beMatrix Academy at Moss GmbH offered insights into digital textile printing production

The beMatrix Academy was aimed at stand builders and advertising agencies who wanted to improve their knowledge of modular exhibition systems, digital signage solutions with LEDskin® and beTV and the use of modern textile printing. The training took place at Moss GmbH in Lennestadt and provided participants with practical experience in the construction of walls, doors and counters as well as the stylish integration of textile prints and AV technology such as LEDskin® modules and the beTV monitor.

The participants were also able to marvel at the production of large textile prints during a tour of the company. In the sewing shop, which specializes in large-format fabrics, visitors were shown how extremely large advertising banners are made up using mobile sewing machines.

During the breaks and the cozy dinner at an Italian restaurant, there was plenty of opportunity for networking.

The participants gained experience in setting up the products and made contacts with bePartners.

The Content Roadshow on January 29, 2025 will provide information on the latest media technology and content trends.

We show the upcoming media technology trends in a practical test.

Content for LED spheres is not trivial and requires special renderings that are generated on powerful computers. We present some of them to you.

The trend of 3D corners made from large LED walls, which originated in China, is also becoming increasingly popular in Europe. The anamorphic content required for this is generated and adapted from existing customer data where necessary.

To further improve the viewing experience, round LED modules are used instead of straight corners.

Another field of interactive customer presentation is opened up with Web-AR and our Content Kiosk. The easy-to-use CMS makes low-cost stand-alone solutions possible.

The training took place at the new AVMS branch in Sulzbach near Frankfurt. We provided the participants with practical experience in the construction of walls, doors and counters as well as the elegant integration of textile prints and AV technology such as LEDskin® modules and the beTV monitor.

During the beCAD training course, participants were able to see for themselves how easy it is to use when designing an exhibition stand. The subsequent generation of packing lists makes it easy to plan the parts.

The breaks offered the opportunity for extensive networking. Participants were also able to view the new LED sphere with a diameter of 1.5m and a pixel pitch of 1.86. The new LEDskin with 1.55mm pixels, the LEDskin LED column and the LEDskin wall with round corners were also on display. Another delicacy was the virtual book, which was realized with a projector and a stereo camera.

Numerous booth builders took part in the beMatrix Academy in Merenberg. As an official LEDskin® and beTV rental partner, AVMS provided information about the product portfolio and also the maintenance and repair options in the branches.

New beMatrix products were presented and a beCAD and double-decker presentation was shown.

The participants of the beMatrix Academy experienced an informative product training session at the warehouse in Merenberg.

Together, we set up an exhibition stand with the appropriate connectors and brackets. A door was integrated and textile walls were edged in. The beCAD planning program was then introduced and the new double-decker solutions presented.

After the lunch break, the second round of product training began.

The interested stand builders were able to exchange ideas extensively with the beMatrix and AVMS employees, as well as with each other.

The AVMS rental range includes the square LEDskin® modules as well as curves and corner modules. The beTV monitor can also be rented from AVMS.

The AVMS branch in Potsdam is also home to the pick-up warehouse for beMatrix frames, which can be rented from beMatrix.

The Academy took place at the Oldtimerfabrik in Neu-Ulm and provided participants with practical experience in the construction of walls, doors and counters as well as the elegant integration of textile prints and AV technology such as LEDskin® modules and the beTV monitor. During the beCAD training course, the participants were able to see for themselves how easy it is to use when designing an exhibition stand. The subsequent generation of packing lists makes it easy to plan the parts.

The participants were also able to enjoy the beautiful exhibition of valuable and in some cases historic vehicles. The models parked by private owners can be admired and, if interested, some can also be purchased. The building also houses workshops for vehicle maintenance and wrapping, a motorcycle dealer, a boutique, an art dealer and a high-class restaurant.

During the breaks and at the café bar, there was plenty of opportunity for networking.
